I needed a new deck that I could WFK everyday on, sit and stand at, move around, and accommodate all of the different projects I like to work on when I’m not on the clock. Oh, and super cheap.

After modeling a couple of options with different dimensions of lumber and different kinds of joints, I decided simple might be best considering that this would be made in my backyard with whatever tools I’m already working with, not some state of the art wood shop.

Once the final design was modeled, I was able to calculate how much lumber was need (+ some extra because I’m only human) and hit the ground running.
